Heather Holmes is a Charleston, SC author and mom. She writes poetry, nonfiction, and children's books, self-published via her own imprint, Cross the Teas. Her mission is to spread awareness and provide support for neurodivergence, trauma recovery and healing, single motherhood, poverty, and other social welfare issues.

Her latest release is a juvenile nonfiction picture book, Wings for Your Heart, a self-help book of healing affirmations for kids and inner children who are recovering from abuse, trauma, or loss. Available now on Amazon! PLEASE give her books five stars on Goodreads! :)

Ms. Holmes has an English degree from the College of Charleston and is the founder of Tidal Lantern, "Charleston's Literary Magazine," which spotlights local artists and writers from the South Carolina Lowcountry.

She lives nearby with her two sons, three cats, a three-legged great dane, a ferret, a tarantula, an axolotl, a rabbit, and eight fish tanks. When she isn't arguing with sloppily coded HTML, she enjoys playing Fortnite and Fae Farm, tending flowers in her little garden, and designing fairy fashion accessories for her boutique, The Cracked Teacup.
